ANDREW DAVIES, LOCAL CELEBRITY A SORT OF RETROSPECTIVE
Monday 14th May 7:00pm - Holiday Inn - Ticket Price £6:00
We are delighted that local celebrity and Kenilworth Festival Patron, will give us a retrospective or 'Greatest Hits' talk, using examples going back to the 70s, including the notorious Bavarian Night, which was inspired by a Parent-teacher evening at St Nicholas School.
With a career spanning from his first television play broadcast in 1965, through classics from Marmalade Atkins to South Riding, Andrew Davies has been a most prolific author and screenwriter. What highlights from his many plays and serials will he share with us? Will it be your favourite? From his adaptation of 'House of Cards', Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Middlemarch, Little Dorrit; the list is long and not forgetting his prolific writing for children including Conrad's War. Tickets for Andrew are always a sell out so we advise you to get in early.
Tickets also available by calling 0845 680 1926 or from Kenilworth Books
